In my alone time with the Lord. I heard Him say, "I am going to transform your life." of course I asked the question, "how," the Lord responded with "by transforming the way you think." That was the beginning of a wonderful time of growth and development. I begin to study everything I could about transformed mind.
The key scripture the Lord gave me was Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. and do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
If you want to transform your life you must first transform the way you think, for as a man thinks in his heart so is he... Proverbs 23:7
Everything starts first with a thought. So you must know how you think.
Ask yourself, why do I always do that or I always end up here?
You can't change what you don't know.
So you need to begin asking the Lord to give you eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to receive.
As I begin to walk out this journey of transformation I realized that I had a deep seed of rejection. My dad and mom got divorced when I was seven-years-old and I always felt rejected by my earthy father. Later on in my teen years I was left alone to raise myself and felt rejected by my family.
I didn't realize it at the time but a lot of my reactions to people were based out of that seed of rejection. One day my daughter asked me; "why I always reacted that way?" After a lot of prayer the Lord led me to Dr. Caroline Leaf and her 21 day brain detox. I did it for years and I continue to work on it as different issues arise. I realized that is was because of the seed of rejection that I reacted in that way and that I had the ability with the Word of God to transform the way I thought.
In order to transform my life I needed to replace that toxic thought with the life giving truth of God's word. I begin to discover that just because I've been rejected doesn't mean I am rejected. On the contrary I am God's beloved, accepted child of God, born to a royal priesthood.
I am no longer bound by the lie of the enemy and freedom never felt so good. So I encourage you to take that first step and seek God; ask Him to reveal truth to your mind. Get resources to help you learn how to think God's way, and let the word of God transform your mind as you begin to act upon it in your every day life.
I pray you will experience the transformed life...How? By transforming the way you think.
